The Role:
As an Property Management, you will be a vital part of our property management team, gaining hands-on experience while working closely with tenants, contractors, and property owners. This is an exciting opportunity to learn the ins and outs of property management while developing your skills in a supportive, dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Assist in the day-to-day management of our property portfolio, including maintenance, inspections, and tenant communications.
* Build and maintain strong relationships with tenants, addressing queries and concerns under the guidance of senior team members.
* Coordinate with contractors and service providers for property maintenance and repairs.
* Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and other legal requirements.
* Support with managing lease agreements, tenant screenings, and move-ins/move-outs.
* Assist with financial tasks such as rent collection, budgeting for property operations, and expense management.
* Contribute to strategies that maximize occupancy and rental income.
* Stay updated on market trends and provide recommendations to the team for property improvements.
Requirements:
A keen interest in property management and real estate.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and a desire to learn property management software.
Preferred Qualifications:
Previous experience or exposure to property management, real estate, or related fields (e.g., internships, part-time roles) is a plus, but not required. Min 2 years experience, in an office and familiar with Microsoft office packages.
Enthusiasm for learning about local property laws and regulations.
A valid driver’s license for travel between High Wycombe, Maidenhead, Slough and Staines
