Description About the role: We have a great opportunity for an individual to join our Clients and Markets team in Birmingham as a Business Development (BD) Executive on a 12-month fixed term contract covering a maternity leave. As a BD Executive you will be required to directly support the Senior Business Development Manager on all business development activities relating to the firm's Tech sector, as well as the Dispute Resolution Group (DRG) practice, which encompasses commercial litigation and intellectual property. In addition to this you will also work to provide support on BD activities aligned to other sectors including Automotive and Life Sciences. The role will be based in Birmingham but travel to London will be expected from time to time. About you: We are seeking an individual with experience in a business development role who demonstrates self-motivation, a positive team player attitude, initiative, and a can-do approach. The ideal candidate should be capable of building rapport at all levels and possess excellent organisational and project management skills, along with excellent attention to detail, outstanding grammar and communication abilities. As a BD Executive you will be required to analyse and report on financial data, support sales initiatives, optimise ROI on events and conferences, undertake client and market research and provide support to the Senior BD Manager. Along with IT skills, including an extensive experience of Word, Excel and PowerPoint, your work experience will demonstrate the ability to work within tight deadlines, demonstrating a flexible approach to deliver tasks and projects to time and with high quality outputs.
