Let’s grow together … What you’ll be doing To act as one of bank’s Nominated Officers for the handling of Financial Crime internal Suspicious Activity Reports, completing investigations, and filing external SARs to the National Crime Agency. Oversighting the assessment of High Risk Customer relationships approvals, including managing conversations on potential customer exits. Drafting and maintaining financial crime policies, supporting policy standards, and supporting methodologies, including how these are communicated to the wider bank. Support Horizon Scanning by complete gap analysis on key regulatory developments, communicating with stakeholders, and monitoring and updating related actions. Designing and delivering tailored financial crime training material to business units and product owners. Providing financial crime technical expertise, sharing knowledge and promoting good practice, and championing continuous improvement to all levels of management and areas of the business. About You What you’ll bring to the team Have a strong degree of written and verbal communication skills, presentation skills with the ability to explain risks and issues in a clear and concise manner. Have excellent organisational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and meet strict deadlines. A strong ability to use sound judgement to identify problems, determine potential solutions or opportunities for improvement and act on those conclusions. Demonstrate excellent initiative and critical thinking skills, including the ability to promote self-development and technical expertise.
