A day in the life of a Murphy People Business Partner
- Provide fully generalist HR support to key functional areas on a day to day basis
- Supporting the business to fully understand their key business performance issues, objectives and drivers, and associated people requirements for both the current and future business challenges
- Support the wider People team and business on People Reward & Recognition activity
- Manage benefits administration for core and flexible benefits, including renewals, resolving issues, and ensuring successful maintenance of employee reward & recognition schemes
- Contribute to the selection and management of appropriate external benefits providers, to ensure service quality, relevance, and commercial value
- Proactively seek ways to improve our benefits offering to remain competitive within the wider industry
- Responsible for the management and coordination of benefits renewals and enrolment processes
- Manage and develop the Reward communications calendar, activity and intranet content
- Provide pay and grading support using our existing framework and assume responsibility for the maintenance of our job families
- Manage the Promotion and Market Adjustment Process
- Support end-to-end annual pay and bonus process
- Provide appropriate and informative analysis, as required by the wider People Team and the wider business

- Experience as a HR generalist supporting a monthly and weekly paid workforce
- Experience of working with reward and benefits data and reporting skills
- Qualified to at least CIPD Level 5
- Working knowledge of the following: recognition schemes| pension scheme types | insurance benefits e.g., private medical insurance, income protections insurance, and life assurance schemes, flexible benefits schemes, and benefits available, job design, compensation analysis and market data would be ideal
- Advanced Excel skills are essential (including Macro programming and pivot tables to enable quick and efficient data analysis)
- Able to develop positive working relationships across all levels of the organisation and the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
