At Volvo Bus we are looking for someone to join the premier sales team in the bus & coach industry. As a Regional Sales Account Manager, you will be at the forefront, covering a range of Volvo bus and coach products, ensuring our commitment to excellence and customer satisfaction.
As a Regional Sales Account Manager within Volvo Bus UK, your aim will be to cultivate and expand a portfolio of customer accounts across London, the South East, and East Anglia. You’ll play a key role in driving our business forward by building and maintaining strong, face-to-face relationships with customers through regular visits.
Your role will be about more than just account management — it’s about identifying new business opportunities, understanding customer needs, and recommending tailored support packages that enhance the performance and success of Volvo products. You’ll be focused on retaining and expanding annual sales targets, ensuring customer satisfaction, and contributing to the success of our sales team.

You have Bus and Coach sales experience or experience in selling high-value items. You are a confident communicator, a masterful negotiator, and a relationship management virtuoso. Your analytical skills are exceptional, allowing you to decipher statistics and financial information with ease. A strategic thinker, you excel in developing new initiatives. As part of our close-knit sales team, your self-motivation and drive will be key to success. The Day-to-Day:
* Actively prospect for new business by visiting customers daily in your designated area, fostering relationships with both existing and potential customers.
* Sell new Volvo Coaches & Buses, meeting annual sales targets for your allocated territory.
* Engage in selling used coaches, contributing to achieving annual sales plans.
* Promote the complete range of products and services in line with the Total Solutions Strategy.
* Provide financially sound proposals, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
* Collaborate with internal teams, contributing to business review meetings and formulating territory plans.
* Contribute to cost and credit control management for profitable growth.
* Attend and support customer events, actively participating in the Commercial Crew concept with dealers.
* Deliver regular reports on sales activity and performance against targets.
* Maximise success with retail customers through effective relationships with body partners.
