An exciting opportunity has become available for a driven and talented leader to join our team as a Franchise Aftersales Manager for Charles Hurst Group.
Your role will involve working with our Aftersales team to ensure that the Aftersales strategy is understood, communicated, implemented, and embedded with a key focus on great customer outcomes. You will also work closely alongside our franchise management as well as site management teams to drive performance improvement.
As Aftersales Manager, you will act as a role model for customer service excellence for the team, always leading by example. You will develop long-lasting, meaningful relationships with our customers and coach and motivate the team to do so too.
You will oversee the full Service and Parts teams and ensure performance and management of the whole Aftersales department is satisfactory. You will manage all aspects of the department, including the day-to-day running of the Workshop; managing the Technicians / Mechanics to achieve maximum productivity; ensuring that the Service Advisors are customer-focused and achieve upselling targets; and implementing strategies in the Parts department that will drive success and motivate the team to maximize sales and orders.
Responsibilities
* Conduct performance reviews with your service team, focusing on key performance metrics and identifying action plans when required.
* Assess training and coaching requirements and facilitate necessary training.
* Work closely to ensure the correct level of interaction required to achieve desired budgets and performance.
* Support the Service teams with a core focus on great customer outcomes.
* Ensure the business focuses on the right measures of efficiency, cost-control, productivity, and profitability of the aftersales departments.
* Support in the growth of future leaders.
We are looking for a candidate who has experience in a management position within the aftersales space of a fast-paced motor dealership.
We seek someone with exceptional interpersonal and communication abilities to effectively build relationships and draw the best performance from their colleagues, along with a proven track record of performance improvement.
Experience monitoring performance against budget and the ability to identify and address any shortfalls promptly are essential. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, the ability to influence and negotiate a sale, and the capability to motivate their team to consistently hit their targets.
A Full UK Driving Licence is essential for this role.
