Location: This role could be based in either our Wythall, Telford, London or Edinburgh offices with time spent working in the office and at home.

The role:
The Technology Solutions Lead drives the execution of the technical outcomes and design decisions made by the team, ensuring employment of the right practices, helping to problem solve and ensuring team members remain invested and collaborate. The technology lead often coaches engineers and may dive into work or specific challenges.
Key accountabilities:
* Facilitates technical and business discussions to help define the work needed to achieve minimum required business value.
* Coaches team members on important, relevant concepts, such as coding practices, continuous integration or automated deployment.
* Works with Platform Engineers to ensure a seamless route-to-live process is established & maintained.
* Shares responsibility with Solution Architect for defining and building reusable and scalable components aligned to Group IT/ Integration strategic roadmap(s).
* Ensures end-end design of the solution is appropriately developed, maintained & communicated.
* An expert within the technical components of the domains/products/journeys.
* Seasoned developer or technical lead with deep insight into newest technologies and trends.
* Manages within a complex ecosystem of technology, vendors, and other stakeholders.
* Active coach and mentor whose goals are to grow and maximize the team’s potential.
What are we looking for?
* Understands functions of various Agile roles and how they relate in defining work.
* Familiarity with DevOps Practices: Basic knowledge of DevOps practices and tools to support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD).
* Understanding of Security Principles: Awareness of fundamental security principles and best practices in software development.
* Cloud Computing and Infrastructure: Understanding of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and infrastructure as code (IaC) practices.
