We are seeking individuals with a passion for caring for the elderly, who want to start their career with a caring, supportive, and progressive company.
Our client, a well-established Aged Care organisation, is seeking new team members (trainees) to join their Aged Care team. No experience or qualification is required, as we will provide on-the-job training for the Certificate III in Individual Support (CHC33021). If successful, you will assist the elderly in a Residential Aged Care setting with their daily lifestyle and activities.
We are expanding this team to accommodate an increase in new residents and the growth of the industry.
We are recruiting part-time trainees, offering a minimum of 15 hours (guaranteed) and the possibility to work up to 35 hours a week.
You will be offered a set 24-month contract for the traineeship, with locked-in shifts on the negotiated days and hours agreed upon during recruitment. Once qualified (within 12 - 15 months), you will move to a qualified rate.
As part of your training, you will be partnered with a workplace Buddy/Mentor who will support and guide you. You will also receive assistance from the Facility Leadership Team, Learning and Development Team, Registered Training Organisation, and Ternary throughout your full traineeship.
The aim of these positions is to transition to ongoing employment upon completion.

* To access State Funding (for training), must be a Permanent Resident or Citizen
* Regular availability to work AM shifts (6:30am to 2:30pm), PM shifts (2:30pm to 10:00pm), and to attend training (9:30am to 4:30pm)
