For 200 years, our crews have been risking their lives to save those who are in danger of drowning. We’re looking for a Project Coordinator to join the central Portfolio Management Office (PMO), who are responsible for managing the strategic projects portfolio, for up to 12 months. Your role As our Project Coordinator, you will support PMO and project activity, to ensure projects are progressing in line with our standards. You will be tasked with focusing on the following areas: Create and maintain project documentation, plans, reports and templates, ensuring quality standards are met and in line with PMO standards Responsible for supporting and ensuring project managers understand and implement a common set of best practice principles and manage projects in line with RNLI and PMO standards to ensure a single and consistent way of working is adopted across all projects Work alongside the project team to schedule and coordinate the planning for specific workstreams within the project Working with the project team guiding and helping them to be successful and provide the quality of information required to make good decisions Support the management of risks, assumptions, issues, dependencies and decisions across the project. Ensure that a RAIDD Log is maintained and updated Support the facilitation of workshops and discussions on how to drive efficiency within project delivery Provide administration support for the project such as recording actions and keep all members of the team up to date with relevant project information About you To be considered as Project Coordinator you will need: Project management qualification desired with significant experience in using Excel and SharePoint. Demonstrable extensive experience of Excel, SharePoint, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Visio Experience of working within a project and programme environment Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships and experience of working with large stakeholder groups with differing needs Exceptional communication skills – both written and verbal Problem solving and root cause identification skills Able to work effectively at all levels in an organisation.
