Procurement Manager - 5 Month Contract - Based in London, Heathrow Our Client has a requirement for a Procurement Manager, who will be required to work on a Contract basis in London, Heathrow. Rate: Negotiable dependant on experience IR35 Status: Can be Inside IR35 or Outside IR35 Contract : Initially 5 Months of work Key Responsibilities: Procurement Strategy and Compliance : Manage procurement activities in alignment with the Clients policies, procedures, standards, and the Project Procurement Plan (strategy), ensuring all processes adhere to company guidelines and project requirements. Stakeholder Collaboration : Partner with the Supply Chain Manager to effectively manage and execute procurement and supply chain activities, fostering strong relationships with all internal and external stakeholders involved in the procurement process. Cross-Functional Coordination : Collaborate with key project functions, including design, delivery, commercial, HSW (Health, Safety, and Welfare), quality, environment, and planning, to ensure procurement activities align with project needs and are executed seamlessly, ensuring timely and continuous project progression. Procurement Schedule Management : Develop, monitor, and update the procurement schedule, contributing to the regular reporting of procurement progress as required by the project controls team, ensuring all activities are on track to meet project deadlines. Tendering and Documentation : Develop and issue comprehensive tender enquiries, ensuring they reflect clear project requirements and contain robust documentation, aiming to secure the best value for money for the project. Supplier Evaluation and Negotiation : Conduct thorough tender evaluations to assess supplier offerings, ensuring that value for money is achieved. Lead supplier meetings and negotiations to obtain the most competitive and advantageous terms for the project. Recommendations and Approvals : Prepare detailed procurement recommendations for internal and client approval, ensuring all necessary documentation is in place before placing orders and issuing subcontracts. Supply Chain Performance : Work closely with the Supply Chain Manager to facilitate regular performance reviews, identifying areas for improvement, and collaborating with suppliers to enhance the overall performance and reliability of the supply chain. Compliance with Laws and Regulations : Ensure all procurement activities comply with relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards, maintaining high ethical standards and transparency throughout the procurement process.
