Contract: Temporary ongoing Gap personnel are proud to be working together with a largest global manufacturer of Lead-Acid and Lithium-ion batteries based in Swindon, who are currently looking for 2 Warehouse Operatives to support busy Manufacturing company. Job Duties: Warehouse operatives are responsible for mass production of a specific product in a manufacturing assembling materials or equipment, carrying out inspections and quality control. Responsibility: Assemble materials and equipment as required. Putting sticky labels Inspect finished products for defects to ensure quality standards are met Assist in the loading of raw materials to the production lines Transport raw materials from one place to another Communicate effectively with coworkers to ensure efficient production and deadlines are met Conduct inspections and quality control of products Assist in lifting, carrying and moving heavy loads as required Ideal Candidate: Sharp attention to detail in favour of identifying defects Self-driven and hard worker Able to work efficiently with minimal supervision Flexible to work shifts, overtime and weekends as required Physically able to lift, carry and move up to 20/25kg Willingness to work as part of the team is essential. Full Training is provided. Please note that due to the type of products our client produces and distributes, you will need to be physically fit as there will be some heavy lifting involved with this role.
