This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced SEN professional to lead and enhance the school’s provision for students with special educational needs in a highly supportive and inclusive environment. Role Highlights: Full-time, permanent position at a highly regarded primary school in Harrow Lead and manage the SEN provision, ensuring every child with additional needs receives the tailored support they need to thrive Oversee the development and implementation of individual education plans (IEPs), working closely with teachers, support staff, and external professionals Provide strategic leadership for the SEN team, offering guidance, training, and support to staff Work closely with parents and carers to ensure the best outcomes for students Monitor and assess the progress and impact of interventions, making adjustments as necessary to ensure each child’s success Promote a culture of inclusion, ensuring that the needs of all students are met across the school Experience & Qualifications: Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) – essential National Award for SEN Coordination (NASENCo) – or willingness to work towards Experience in a SENCo role within a primary school setting (preferred) Strong knowledge and experience in SEN strategies, including working with students with a variety of learning, emotional, and behavioural needs Proven leadership and team management experience Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a commitment to working closely with staff, parents, and external agencies Enhanced DBS check required Why Join Us?
