Accessory Development Executive
(Job Share, 3 days a week Wednesday to Friday)
The role of Accessory Development Executive plays a pivotal part in the growth of Accessory Sales for the BMW Group. You will be primarily responsible for the development of our MINI product portfolio and for growing the accessory business through several different channel opportunities. You will also support the central strategy for growth and profitability whilst meeting UK local objectives.
Working alongside a colleague responsible for BMW Accessories and your job share partner, you will also be responsible for the development and promotion of products from the BMW portfolio including our Wheel and Tyres business and other cross brand and departmental projects, for example through training and events channels. Exploring and identifying other commercial opportunities by working collaboratively across our business and our retail network will also be part of your remit.
What awaits you?
* Develop the existing MINI accessory portfolio in line with current and future vehicle models.
* Manage our complete Wheel portfolio.
* Ensure new and existing product information on accessory portfolio is current and communicated to key stakeholders.
* Evaluate current and future product range to create an annual business plan in line with available budget and targets.
* Identify, investigate, and implement opportunities for business development for both short term tactical campaigns and the long-term strategy.
* Manage product volume planning, stock of key product lines and retailer and internal stakeholder enquiries.
* Produce new and maintain our existing centrally produced reference tools to aid retailer sales.
* Brief marketing colleagues on specific marketing campaigns.
What should I bring along?
* Educated to degree level (or equivalent) or Motor trade experience.
* Strong organisational skills with a proven ability to manage multiple tasks with differing timescales and conflicting objectives.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, negotiate and manage effectively at all levels.
* High level of self-motivation, self-initiative and flexibility.
* Experience of managing projects under tight and changing time constraints.
* Ability to analyse sales and market data to estimate ROI in order to identify opportunities.
* Effective user of MS Office & data warehouse products; in particular, high level of Excel and PowerPoint competency required.
* Desirable: Experience of Purchasing and Procurement processes and/or Accessories business.
