Job Description:
The Recruitment Co is currently working with the RQIA to recruit for a Band 3 Administrator.
Principal Duties of the role
* Provide high-quality routine administrative support to individual departments, ensuring the effective operation of systems and procedures. This may include, but is not limited to, using email, telephone, and face-to-face contact as methods of communication.
* Assist in the administration and implementation of administrative systems within the departments.
* Gather, collate, and process documents and information as required.
* Manage the administration of the office, ensuring a continual high standard of service is provided to all staff, customers, members of the public, and suppliers.
* Act as the first point of contact for telephone, email, and face-to-face enquiries to the relevant department, providing advice where appropriate.
* Effectively prepare reports, documents, and proposals for senior staff within the department, as well as supplying advice and assistance as required.
* Provide high-level service to all stakeholders.
General Requirements
* The post holder will be required to:
* Assist The Organisation in fulfilling its statutory duties under Section 75 of the Northern Ireland Act 1998 to promote equality of opportunity and good relations, and under the Disability Discrimination (Northern Ireland) Order 2006. Qualifications and Experience
* Five GCSEs (including GCSE English Language and GCSE Maths, Grades A* – C) or equivalent qualification demonstrating literacy and numeracy, or higher qualification.
* OR
* 18 months relevant experience.
Additional requirements include:
* Evidence of at least one year’s experience working with Microsoft Office or similar.
* Hold a current full UK driving licence and have access to a car on appointment. This requirement may be waived for applicants whose disability prohibits driving but who have access to alternative transportation.
