Graduate Roles Available
Financial Institutions Insurance
Join our specialty division, focusing on arranging insurance for investment managers, hedge funds, private equity firms, and financial services businesses. You’ll support senior team members, assist with broking to the Financial Institution insurance market, and develop deep expertise in professional indemnity, management liability, crime, and cyber insurance.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Supporting senior team members in managing high-profile financial institution client accounts.
* Attending client meetings, taking notes, and preparing follow-up reports.
* Conducting research and due diligence to understand clients' insurance needs.
* Working with insurers, including Lloyd’s of London, to negotiate competitive terms.
* Preparing detailed policy documentation, including Lloyd’s slips and client summaries.
* Handling client and insurer queries, ensuring high-quality service at all times.
* Gaining knowledge of the financial institutions sector, insurance products, and risk management practices.
* Building relationships with insurers and other market professionals to stay informed about industry trends.
Employee Benefits Consulting
Work with businesses to design and manage employee benefits programmes, including pensions, life assurance, private medical insurance, and financial wellbeing services. You’ll assist consultants, provide client support, analyse market trends, and help develop tailored benefits strategies.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Supporting consultants in advising businesses on their employee benefits strategy.
* Assisting with the design and implementation of pension schemes and other benefits.
* Conducting market research to identify the best policies and providers for clients.
* Handling policy renewals, liaising with insurers, and ensuring smooth transitions for clients.
* Drafting reports, analysing data, and preparing presentations for client meetings.
* Helping clients communicate their benefits effectively to employees through workshops and resources.
* Assisting with operational improvements and proposition development within the division.
* Learning about financial wellbeing strategies and how they impact employee engagement and retention.
Corporate Risk Insurance Broking
Gain exposure to the full insurance broking lifecycle, working with businesses of all sizes to secure robust insurance solutions. You’ll engage with insurers, prepare policy documentation, support client meetings, and develop expertise in risk management across diverse industries.
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
* Assisting senior brokers in managing corporate client accounts and risk assessments.
* Preparing reports and documentation to support insurance renewals and policy placements.
* Engaging with insurers to request quotes and negotiate terms.
* Reviewing insurance policies to ensure accuracy and suitability for clients.
* Managing mid-term policy adjustments to reflect changes in client needs.
* Attending client meetings, taking notes, and following up with action points.
* Supporting new business development by researching potential clients and industry trends.
* Developing a strong understanding of commercial insurance products and how they apply to different industries.

Essential Criteria:
* A first-class or 2:1 degree (any discipline).
* A strong work ethic, professionalism, and excellent communication skills.

* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Training and Development
We recognise that most graduates start with no prior experience in financial services, so we provide a structured three-year training program covering both technical and professional skills.
