We recently published a highly ambitious three-year Transport Strategy Delivery Programme, and now we are looking for a Principal Design Engineer to help bring this vision to life through two major schemes: the Holborn Liveable Neighbourhood Programme and the Better, Safer Kilburn Scheme. The role As Principal Design Engineer, you’ll lead on two transformative projects: the £40m Holborn Liveable Neighbourhood Scheme, designed to create world-class, sustainable urban spaces, and the £12m Better, Safer Kilburn Scheme, focused on improving safety, air quality, and public spaces. You will oversee these schemes from design to delivery, ensuring they meet Camden’s ambitious goals while collaborating with stakeholders and managing budgets and resources effectively. About you We are seeking a qualified engineer with significant experience in urban design and public realm projects. You will have a proven track record of managing complex schemes, excellent communication and negotiation skills, and the ability to deliver innovative, high-quality designs. While Chartered or Incorporated status is preferable, expertise in AutoCAD is essential.
