PA to Managing Director

We’re based in Glossop, Derbyshire, at the gateway to the Peak District, and we're looking for a PA to support our Managing Director. As a PA, you’ll manage scheduling, organise meetings, coordinate travel, and handle emails, ensuring everything runs smoothly. You’ll work closely with our senior leadership team, build strong connections, and contribute to exciting projects. About You:
* Proactive and organised, ensuring deadlines are met and tasks are completed to support the MD's workload.
* Collaborative and supportive, fostering positive teamwork and successful partnerships.
* Flexible and detail-oriented, efficiently handling tasks and managing communication.
* Takes initiative and demonstrates sound judgement, approaching challenges with a positive mindset.
Key Skills:
* Skilled in calendar management, scheduling, and prioritising tasks.
* Strong organisation, communication, and planning abilities, with attention to detail.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel, PowerPoint) and managing meeting logistics.
* Experienced in minute taking, email management, and confidentiality.
* Background working with senior leadership and supporting diverse projects.
* Able to build relationships across all levels of the business.
Main Responsibilities Include:
* Managing the diary, organising meetings, travel, accommodation, and related logistics.
* Handling the Director's email, expenses, and daily activities with professional communication.
* Collaborating with the Senior Leadership Team on reports, presentations, agendas, and deadlines.
* Preparing for meetings, submitting documents, taking minutes, and following up on actions.
* Proactively supporting the Director, including decision-making in their absence and assisting with ad hoc projects.
Salary: From £27,000 DOE
Contract: Full Time, Permanent, 37.5 hours per week
Hybrid/On the Road Working:
While you’re finding your feet at Flair, you will spend most of your days in the office where we work the core hours of 09:30 – 15:30 Monday – Friday with flexible start/finish times according to your
schedule and location needs. Time will be spent working with the MD both onsite, home office and on the road.
