Thomas Carroll Caerphilly, United Kingdom Operations & IT On site
Company Description
Who We Are
Founded in 1972, Thomas Carroll Group plc is one of the biggest employee-owned companies in Wales. We provide a breadth of professional services for businesses and individuals, including business and personal insurance broking, employee benefits, wealth management, health & safety, and employment law consultancy.
Over the years we have moved closer to our clients, opening local offices in Swansea, Pembrokeshire, Hereford, Newport, and London in addition to our headquarters in Caerphilly, near Cardiff.
Our people and the relationships we build with our clients are our differentiating strengths. In an industry where companies are increasingly sold or acquired by larger companies, we remain fiercely independent to ensure that we have a long-term succession plan in place for our employees and can always offer our clients the best help and advice available.
In December 2023, Thomas Carroll Group turned all 181 of our employees into co-owners of the company, made possible through the establishment of an Employee Ownership Trust (EOT). This move cemented our commitment to maintain our independence, increase employee engagement, and continuously invent and innovate to remain an industry leader.
The communities in which we operate and the environment that surrounds us are at the heart of what we do, from the formation of our ‘green team’ tasked with reducing our carbon footprint to the launch of the Thomas Carroll Charitable Trust in 2019, that was set up to support individuals, smaller charities, and other community initiatives in our local areas.
