All About You:
The role is ideal for an experienced Occupational Therapist who has:
* At least two years of post-graduate experience working with children who have a range of physical, neurodevelopmental, and genetic needs
* Demonstrated skills in motor development, self-care, and sensory integration
* Experience across various settings, including homes, clinics, nurseries, and schools, or the confidence to work in these environments with minimal guidance
* Strong communication abilities and a collaborative spirit, able to work both independently and as a part of a team
* HCPC registration and Royal College of Occupational Therapists membership (or eligibility to register before the start of employment)
* UK driving license and own vehicle is essential
What Will You Be Doing:
In this role, you’ll:
* Independently manage a caseload of children, primarily aged birth to four years, who present with complex needs
* Conduct assessments, plan, and deliver occupational therapy focused on motor skills, self-care skills, and sensory development
* Work across a variety of settings, including home visits, clinics, nurseries, and schools, adapting to meet each child’s unique needs
* Engage with families, building strong rapport to facilitate positive therapy outcomes
* Rely on both your problem-solving skills and regular supervision to grow your expertise while taking responsibility for your caseload from day one
You’ll be based in Littleport/Lakenheath/Brandon, with travel required to Ely, Newmarket, Bury St Edmunds, Norwich, and Cambridge, with potential additional travel to Peterborough, Alconbury, Kings Lynn, and Huntingdon by agreement.
