We are looking for a driven and organised individual to join our well established Patient Services Coordinator team. As a Patient Services Coordinator you will be responsible for ensuring all referrals, letters, advice and guidance letters are processed in a timely manner.
The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring the Practice inbox and will need to have a methodical and proactive approach to ensure all incoming emails and queries are actioned within the appropriate time frame. The post holder will be responsible for dealing with all incoming information requests and ensure the completion of medical reports that are dealt with both internally and externally.
Main duties of the job
The post-holder will be responsible for running reports within our bespoke clinical system to ensure all urgent and two week wait referrals have been completed and sent electronically. They should be confident using IT systems so they can communicate with patients via secure SMS and email. The successful candidate will provide administrative support to Clinicians and Practice Management to support the delivery of excellent patient care.
The successful candidate should have excellent verbal and written skills to be able to communicate in a professional manner. The candidate will be a key point of contact via telephone and email for patients and colleagues regarding referrals, letters and requests for information.
We have full and part-time positions available across Monday - Friday between the hours of 8.00am and 6.30pm. Successful applicants would be joining our team of Patient Services Coordinators who work within our City Centre sites.

Of our four sites, Endless Street and Three Swans are located within Salisbury. The villages of Porton and Winterslow host our branch sites and are on the outskirts of the city. Our Endless Street surgery is a listed building and therefore not suitable for renovation. However, the search for a suitable space to build a new central surgery is ongoing.
