You’ll be developing and supporting a wide range of systems that are crucial to TfL’s operations. We’ll rely on you to support and develop systems that are elegant and robust, integrating a wide variety of systems across our cloud estate.
You’ll be part of a Kanban team working to build, deploy and support TfL’s Revenue Collection Back Office Services and Apps and Azure Integration Services, working with other Scrum teams to develop, deploy and support high quality working software.
You’ll be responsible for undertaking detailed investigations to identify root causes and fixes for complex technical issues and implementation of data and code fixes.
You’ll be liaising with the business, service owners and 3rd party suppliers.
You’ll get to use every bit of your expertise.
Constantly looking for better ways to develop software and experienced in developing robust Azure solutions and large scale back-end projects, you’ll be an expert in the following:
1. Supporting and maintaining large scale, high performance back-office and Azure systems.
2. Monitoring including Azure Monitor and AppInsights. Dynatrace ideal but not mandatory.
3. Microsoft Azure, in particular: APIM, ASE, ARM templates and Bicep, Azure Service Bus, Web Apps, Function and Logic Apps.
4. PowerShell.
5. Azure DevOps, in particular: Deployment Automation, YAML pipelines and Git Repositories.
6. Development in C# systems with SQL server back-end.
7. Experience with Java and Oracle is also required.
It would be highly desirable if you’ve also worked with any of the following:
1. Revenue collecting systems.
2. Container Services (Kubernetes).
3. Administration of Windows Server.
4. Dynatrace.
