Job Purpose
To meet project deadlines and ensure that the quality of the installations is completed and tested to a high standard.
Responsibilities
1. Lean manufacturing of motor control & power distribution panels with all relevant specifications, standards, and safety regulations.
2. Applying applicable legislation to suit the global market.
3. Dead testing the electrical control panels after completion.
4. Liaise with design engineers on control panel design issues/improvements.
5. Installing new products as technologies advance in the industry.
6. Understand and apply the requirements for IEC/IEE wiring regulations.
7. Participate in continuous improvement activities to enhance product quality, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
8. Facilitating communication between the design team and workshop team.
9. Establishing the deliverables and continually reviewing processes to improve.
10. Provide progress updates at weekly meetings.
11. Adhere to CDE’s HR and H&S policies.

Desired Criteria
* 2 years testing and fault finding.
* Testing of control panels.
* Understanding of PLC control systems.
Required Criteria
* Grade C or above in Maths and English.
* Engineering discipline or Qualified Electrician (or 3 years relevant experience)
* Experience in control panel manufacturing.
* Knowledge of starter systems, VFD, Soft start, S/D and DOL systems.
* Busbar systems.
* Ability to read and understand electrical schematics.
* Valid driver’s license.
* Right to work in the UK.
