Job Title: CNC Offline Programmer
Job Type: Days based, Perm
Hours: Monday Friday, 8am 3:30pm
Location: Finchampstead
Pay: £50,000 - £55,000
CNC 5 Axis Programmer /Setter / Operator required to join a busy sub-contract precision engineering company located in Finchampstead. Manufacturing high precision components from a variety of sectors including Motorsport, Automotive, Oil & Gas. ISO 9001 Approved.
With continuous investment in the latest machines and technology they offer a truly comprehensive engineering service, including: CNC milling, CNC turning, Sliding Head Turning, Thread Rolling, Gun Drilling & Honing,
Job Responsibilities:
⦁ Set, operate and program 5 axis mills.
⦁ Programming offline using Hypermill software
⦁ Use best practice methods to design and create bespoke tooling as required and manufacturing strategies.
⦁ Work within a team of skilled machinists or independently when required.
⦁ Follow in house and customer based procedures and quality standards.
Qualifications & Skills:
⦁ 2 years experience working with Hypermill
⦁ 5 Axis milling experience
⦁ Knowledge of Mazatrol programming language would be beneficial.
⦁ Demonstrate a sound knowledge of work holding, tool selection, speed & feeds, quality awareness and time management.
⦁ Programming abilities from scratch.
⦁ Set and operate multi axis machines.
⦁ CADCAM offline programming experience.
⦁ Work to tight deadlines.
⦁ Experience of machining Aluminium Casting would be advantageous.
⦁ Good understanding of customer deliverables and the impact of failure/cost of poor quality
⦁ To have a flexible approach
⦁ Apprentice trained (academically) or time served of at least 5 years.
