Senior ICT Officer (Application Support)
This post is based at Link’s Edinburgh or Falkirk office. Travel to other Link offices may be required from time to time. However, hybrid working is available with this role.
£42,109 to £52,636 per annum (dependent on skills and experience)
35 hours per week Monday to Friday. Alternative working patterns and/or working arrangements will be considered.

The Senior ICT Officer (Application Support) will join the Digital Services Applications Support Team working directly with employees and external partners, to deliver business-focused ICT Services by supporting and developing Link’s Line of Business Systems and integrated products.
The post-holder will be instrumental in assessing all application support requests in relation to Line of Business systems across the whole of Link group. In addition, the role involves playing a significant role in the development and ongoing maintenance of the Line of Business systems (e.g. upgrades, implementation support, testing).
The successful candidate will work closely with Digital Services colleagues and system suppliers to maintain efficiencies in performance of all Line of Business systems in relation to server / network infrastructure including provision of 1st line support to external partners as and when required.
About You
Qualified to a Degree level (SCQF Level 9) in a relevant subject (e.g. Information Technology) and significant experience in an application support role, you will have significant experience of delivering first class application support to end users in an ERP environment.
Demonstrable experience of working within an ICT department at a Senior level supporting multiple Line of Business systems is required for this role.
You will have extensive experience of supporting and developing the use of housing management systems, ideally gained through working with a registered social landlord or local authority.
This role requires the ability to develop test scripts and assist with planning testing stages of projects as well as extensive problem solving skills, dealing with highly complex issues.
