Marketing and Events Executive Location: Hybrid, 3 days per week from a Liverpool city centre office, 2 from home (this is subject to change during training and event peak seasons).

We have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Marketing and Events Executive to join a dynamic team.
This permanent position is well suited to an individual that is looking to kickstart or advance their career in marketing and events, supporting the key functions of our company.
Based within the marketing and events team, you will become the 4th member of a team that will focus on all event and marketing related tasks.
The main focus of the team will be to source students for our events, produce company wide marketing materials, manage our website and deliver successful online and in person events.
Responsibilities: Event support.
This will likely include being on the check-in desk scanning tickets, organising our on-the-day materials, and assisting with travel expenses and post event administration and reporting.
In a typical year you can expect to be involved in over 10 events and this may involve travel across the UK, Ireland, Netherlands and Australia.
Marketing tasks.
This will include, but is not limited to, keeping a record of key statistics, photos and quotes from our events, helping with the creation and completion of newsletters, blogs, digital advertisements, organic social content, blogs and materials for our events (programmes, floorplans, signage etc.).
Website tasks.
Assist with uploading new events.
Add jobs to our job board and check that all content is accurate and up to date.
In addition to this you will write blog posts and review the website performance.
Event related Comms.
Sending out pre-written messaging to our attendees in the run up to the events including via WhatsApp, Eventbrite and emails.
Messaging universities, societies and external organisations with details of our events that can be shared with their communities.
Ad hoc tasks as required.
This is exciting role for someone with a passion for organisation and marketing, and you will be asked to contribute your ideas from day one to help shape your role into something that will help organise the entire company and our administrative and marketing processes.
Requirements: Educated to degree level, ideally in something related to marketing or business, but this is not essential.
Excellent organisation skills and attention to detail.
An interest in marketing and administration, with a passion for managing projects and good communication skills which allow you to work across multiple teams.
1-2 years’ experience in marketing, events, administration or as a personal assistant is advantageous but not essential.
Experience using Canva, Monday.com, Eventbrite or LinkedIn would be a bonus.
Ability to travel year-round for our events as needed.
