Are you an experienced Drainage Engineer with a passion for solving drainage issues and ensuring smooth operations? We're looking for someone just like you If you have experience with commercial internal drainage systems, clearing blockages, operating specialist tools like the Picote Machine, and performing basic plumbing tasks, we want you to be part of our dynamic team. What You'll Be Doing: Handling commercial internal drainage work, including clearing blockages in drains, pipes, and toilet systems. Operating specialist drainage equipment like the Picote Machine, and if trained, the Spartan 300 Drain Cleaning Machine (training provided). Carrying out basic plumbing tasks, including pipe repairs, leak detection, and replacing damaged fittings. Performing patch repairs to drainage systems to restore flow and integrity. Conducting minor excavations to access damaged pipes and blockages. Replacing and repairing manhole covers and surface drainage components. Surveying job sites, assessing the condition of systems, and providing clear recommendations on parts and tools required for repairs. Maintaining and servicing handheld machinery to ensure it's always ready for use. Working in confined spaces when necessary, with a focus on safety (Confined Space Certification is a plus). Communicating clearly with clients and team members to ensure work is carried out efficiently and to a high standard.What We're Looking For: Proven experience in drainage engineering, especially with commercial internal drainage systems. Willingness to learn how to operate the Picote Machine and Spartan 300 Drain Cleaning Machine (training available if needed). Strong basic plumbing skills, with experience in pipework, toilet systems, and fittings. Ability to perform patch repairs and minor excavations. Experience with manhole covers - changing, repairing, and maintaining. Problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Confident in surveying job sites and making recommendations for parts and repairs. Knowledge of confined space work (Confined Space Certification desirable).
