Contract type: 21 hours per week - Term-Time Only (Wed/Thurs & Friday 8.30am - 4.00pm, including a 30 minute unpaid lunch; NB: Lunch must not be taken between 12.30 & 1.30pm)
Beverley Grammar School is a popular 11–18 boys’ comprehensive with a Joint Sixth form with the neighbouring girls’ school. We focus on creating a culture of success, a positive climate for learning, increased student attainment and achievement, and social and emotional development for all our students.
The post is responsible for:
* Coordinating standard assessments for reading and spelling
* Coordinating and running the reading pathway catch up interventions
* Work closely with disadvantaged students to raise the profile of reading
* Organise and assist with whole school events aimed at creating a positive reading culture
* Assist with all aspects in the effective running of the Learning Resource Centre
* Provide supervision and assistance to all users of the Learning Resource Centre
* Maintenance of the computerised Library Management Programme
