Job Title: Registered Children's Home Manager
Location: Nottingham
Salary: £45,000
An exciting opportunity for a Registered Children's Manager to run our client's 2 Bedded home in Nottingham, on a full time, permanent basis.
As the Registered Manager, your duties will include:
* Developing, mentoring and leading a vibrant and enthusiastic care team.
* Responsible for the effective day to day running of the home and the delivery of all care services, as well as the strategic planning for developments within the home and all day-to-day management matters.
* Deliver the organisation's vision and values and best possible childcare to the children in the service.
* Build internal and external relationships with service users, families, staff, agencies, partners, and commissioners.
* Strong leadership and effective communication skills with a very nurturing side and strong interpersonal skills.
To be considered for the Registered Manager position, we are looking for:
* Level 3 NVQ diploma in Residential Childcare/Health and Social Care Children's Workforce (Or equivalent) OR have a NVQ Level 5 in Residential Childcare or equivalent or be willing to work towards this qualification within two years of working in post.
* A true passion for care and working with children.
* Experience of working in a similar (Ofsted), confident meeting and exceeding Ofsted guidelines.
* Supervision or management experience.
* Worked in a Children's residential setting.
* Clean Valid Enhanced DBS and on the update service ideally.
* UK Drivers License.
