Package: £100,000 - £120,000 + Commission
We are delighted to be recruiting for a pioneering robotics company specialising in Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMRs) and Robotic Arms designed to revolutionise industrial automation. Our confidential client is seeking a driven and experienced Sales Director to lead their expansion across the UK market.
The Role:
As Sales Director, you will take ownership of sales strategies, forge strong client relationships, and drive revenue growth within the industrial automation sector. You will utilise your expertise in robotics and automation to position the company as an industry leader while identifying and capitalising on high-value business opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to grow revenue from robotic solutions, accessory tools, and consumables within the industrial sector.
* Cultivate and expand relationships with manufacturers, distribution partners, and key industry players.
* Lead a high-performing sales team to establish and grow agency channels for robotics and associated equipment.
* Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform sales strategies and product development.
* Work collaboratively with product, marketing, and service teams to ensure exceptional customer experiences.
* Meet and exceed annual sales targets, contributing to overall business growth objectives.
Ideal Candidate:
* Experience: 10-20 years of proven sales success within the industrial, engineering, automation, or power tools industries.
* Expertise: Strong knowledge of AMRs, robotic arms, and emerging industrial technologies, alongside technical proficiency with equipment and tools.
* Leadership: Demonstrated success in leading and motivating sales teams, with the ability to build and nurture key industry relationships.
* Market Insight: In-depth understanding of industrial sales channels, including distributors, manufacturers, and enterprise clients.
* Languages: Fluent in German and English, with excellent communication and negotiation skills.
* Education: Bachelor’s degree required; advanced degree or relevant certifications preferred.
