Dean Close Airthrie school are looking to appoint a new Teacher of Junior Form, to start in January 2025. This is a part time role, working up to 20 hours per week during term time. You will be experienced candidate who is able to teach a range of subjects for our Key stage 1 and 2 classes and possess a strong subject knowledge and understanding of pedagogy. Other roles and responsibilities are to include: To teach in a way which enables all pupils to make sound progress. To monitor the progress of individual pupils carefully and use this information for planning future work To support, encourage and inspire pupils in their learning and to discuss any pupils causing concern with the KS1 or 2 Lead To write subject reports on pupils as required.
