Job Description:
The Senior Designer is a key member of the Design Team, reporting to the Senior Design Manager. You will lead and manage the team, oversee categories and projects, and create style-aware ranges aligned with the brand's design pillars, emphasizing commerciality and brand relevance.
You Will:
1. Lead delivery of two seasonal collections focusing on Heritage & Vintage, Premium, and Sportswear styles.
2. Ensure timely delivery of brand-appropriate products within seasonal timelines and critical paths.
3. Regularly update the Senior Design Manager and Head of Design & Development on progress.
4. Support the creation of seasonal direction, aligning with product constructs and brand pillars, and pitch ideas.
5. Coordinate with stakeholders to deliver in-season creative projects aligned with business priorities.
6. Work with Designers and Assistants to deliver the seasonal visual range plan efficiently.
7. Drive product research for innovation and sustainability opportunities.
8. Align consumer style, strategic positioning, and target audience with brand and products.
9. Maintain consistent design handwriting, branding, and prints per brand standards.
10. Support all aspects of the product design process, including research and workload management.
11. Support and lead across multiple categories and disciplines.
12. Oversee fabric, trim, and material selection strategically and in line with timelines.
13. Present design concepts and ranges persuasively.
14. Build strong relationships with regional offices, suppliers, and stakeholders.
15. Uphold design and brand standards in communication with suppliers.
16. Identify issues proactively and solve problems efficiently.
17. Conduct fittings and sample reviews confidently.
18. Oversee new silhouettes in collaboration with QT.
19. Travel independently to overseas suppliers for development and inspiration.
20. Manage direct reports with regular feedback sessions and support their career growth.
You Are:
1. University educated or minimum 8 years' experience in fashion or design.
2. Experienced Senior Designer with a background in fashion retail or brands.
3. Deep knowledge across categories, techniques, and processes, adaptable beyond expertise.
4. Proven leadership and mentorship skills.
5. Excellent communicator and influencer.
6. Strong sense of style, culture, trends, and print.
7. Skilled presenter and negotiator.
8. Highly organized, capable of working within strict deadlines.
9. Strategic thinker and problem solver in a fast-paced environment.
10. Flexible, adaptable, and proactive in leading change.
11. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and PLM systems.
