My name's Catrina, and I'm a customer care assistant at McDonald's. My job consists of looking after every customer that comes through McDonald's doors and keeping the restaurant clean and tidy, ready for the next customer to enjoy their food. It's important for this role that you're open and greet everyone, being approachable as well. My favorite thing about my job is getting to learn and understand different levels of people, meeting different customers and experiences every day, which makes my experience grow. As a Customer Care Assistant, you will be the face of your restaurant, dealing with customers and ensuring everything runs smoothly in the customer areas. Activities include making children feel welcome, handing out balloons, organizing special events, looking after customers' specific needs, keeping high standards of cleanliness in the dining area and toilets, and helping to create a warm and welcoming atmosphere. It's your responsibility to establish and maintain positive communication with customers at all times and to keep the manager informed about customer satisfaction.
You will work in our fast-moving, high-energy environment and we’re looking for a genuine smile and the ability to connect with customers and make them feel valued. Friendly, welcoming, courteous, and helpful behavior will come naturally to you, and you’ll work well as part of a team. Effective communication skills such as attentive listening, face-to-face verbal communication, and eye contact are a must. The ability to maintain high energy levels while working both efficiently and productively is essential.
