Mechanical Site Engineer Role Location: Chester Job Type: Full-time Core Responsibilities: Oversee mechanical installations on-site, ensuring adherence to project designs and timelines. Verify that construction work complies with design drawings, specifications, and schedules. Conduct regular site inspections to ensure high standards of safety and quality. Anticipate material requirements and notify the Site Chief promptly. Prepare and submit daily progress reports, including relevant documentation. Communicate material, manpower, and site-related issues to the Site Chief to support timely corrective actions. Identify and address defects or incomplete tasks, escalating unresolved issues to the Site Chief. Promote and enforce strict compliance with health and safety regulations across the site. Qualifications: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. 3 to 5 years of relevant experience in industrial or plant-based projects is required. SMSTS certification is advantageous. Strong analytical skills with effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Factory or industrial plant experience is highly desirable. Availability to work Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM. Valid CSCS Card or equivalent certification is essential.
