* Beresponsible for the management of the Usdin Laboratory mousecolony. This work includes maintaining stocks of essential mousestrains coordinating the import of additional mice into the mousecolony and the export of mice/mouse embryos/mouse sperm to otherfacilities as needed ensuring the cryopreservation and cryorecoveryof appropriate mouse lines develop appropriate genotyping assaysfor new mouse lines supervising the generation of new mouse linesboth by CRISPRmediated geneediting of embryos and appropriatebreeding strategies using preexisting mutant mice overseeingCRISPRmediated geneediting of embryos and appropriate breedingstrategies using preexisting mutant mice overseeing the generationof embryonic stem cell and embryonic fibroblasts derived from theseanimals design and prepare animal study protocols and standardoperation procedures (SOPs)
* Train newpersonnel in appropriate labapproved SOPs including those in placefor working with this animal colony
* Maintainand coordinate scientific equipment and make recommendations wherenecessary for the acquisition of new equipment
