Key responsibilities include managing stock levels, order dispatch, and service requirements, optimizing business functions, and leading warehouse and procurement teams to drive continuous improvement. Responsibilities Overview:
Supplier Management:
* Conduct supplier audits and reviews to ensure alignment with company goals and cost-effectiveness.
* Manage telecommunications contracts, supplier performance, and rebate agreements.
* Maintain supplier information and foster positive relations.
Supply, Demand, and Stock Management:
* Forecast demand using sales data and manage stock levels to meet demand.
* Oversee inventory management, conduct audits, and implement sustainable practices.
* Ensure suppliers meet ethical and environmental standards.
Logistics and Distribution:
* Coordinate logistics and manage third-party providers to ensure timely deliveries.
* Monitor performance and develop contingency plans for supply disruptions.
Process Improvement and Automation:
* Identify and implement automation opportunities to enhance efficiency.
* Collaborate with IT to integrate systems and report on improvements.
Team Leadership:
* Lead and develop the Warehouse and Procurement teams, conducting performance reviews.
* Foster collaboration and ensure effective workload distribution.
Cost Control and Procurement Strategy:
* Balance cost, quality, and availability in procurement; implement cost-saving initiatives.
* Conduct market research and negotiate supplier terms.
Risk Management:
* Identify supply chain risks and implement mitigation strategies.
* Ensure compliance with regulations and collaborate with insurance providers on contracts.
