Your role in our mission…..
We’re looking for an empathetic, Specialist Social Worker to join our patient and family support team at our Glasgow Hospice. As our Specialist Social Worker, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients with a life-limiting illness and offer support to those important to them during end-of-life care.
In this role, you will:
* Deliver personalized social work services to both patients and their loved ones.
* Conduct holistic assessments to identify and address the unique needs of each patient and their carers.
* Provide bereavement support and ongoing care to individuals receiving hospice services, extending to the wider community when needed.
You'll work as part of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary team, advocating for the best possible care for those you support. If you're passionate about making a meaningful impact in people's lives, we'd love for you to join us.

Salary: Marie Curie Clinical Pay Scale Band 6 (aligned with AFC) £39,912 - £48,635 per annum
Contract: Permanent 37.5 hours per week Monday to Friday
Based: Onsite at Marie Curie Glasgow Hospice, 133 Balornock Rd, Springburn, Glasgow G21 3US
