The role involves providing first-class care for children and young people, promoting high care standards and core beliefs, and following specific Behaviour Management Plans and Care Plans to safeguard the young people in our care.
Main duties of the job
As a Children and Young Person Support Worker, you will be responsible for assuring the safeguarding of all young people, listening to them, and encouraging and motivating them to participate in group activities. You will also be required to build positive relationships with the young people, write clear and detailed follow-up reports, and accommodate to their needs, self-reliance, and overall emotional and physical wellbeing.
