Due to our continued expansion, we have immediate starts for both experienced and trainee
AV Technicians. Based in the North East of England we specialise in delivering outstanding technical services for both outdoor and indoor events/conferences in high profile arenas, locally, nationally and internationally. We also provide bespoke designed and quality built exhibition stands.
A flexible work ethic is required due to the nature of the events industry, you will be working with our ever-growing inhouse AV equipment, featuring Digio Consoles, Martin Audio, Absen Video Wall Polaris 2.5 Plus V2 and Avolites.
Duties include:
• Loading and unloading trucks
• Rigging, operating and de-rigging lights, sound, vision and AV equipment
• Lighting, power and AV installation.
• Building and dismantling LED Walls, set, scenery and stages.
We have a highly experienced team who can provide help and training in new skill sets if and when required.
Candidates must be:
• Reliable
• Punctual
• Proactive & show initiative
• Have a flexible approach to working hours – (sometimes crew will be working unsociable hours)
• Good standard of spoken English
• Team player
• Fast Learner
• Common sense
• Good communication skills
• Presentable
• Polite & well mannered
• Contactable and available outside of usual working hours
• Willingness to work hard and learn.
• A full clean driving licence would be an advantage
You don’t need to have any particular skills or experience, but the following will increase your earning potential:
• Forklift licenses – Counterbalance, Rough Terrain or Telescopic Handler
• Scissor lift or Cherry Picker license
• PASMA
• Working at Height (Plus equipment)
• CSCS card
• SPA Card
• Lighting Tech
• Sound Tech
• Visual Tech
