We are an established private day nursery, providing high quality day care for over 50 years. We are based in Linthorpe
Village. One of our core values is to create an environment of warmth and belonging, where everyone is welcome. We are a
traditional nursery, that places a high importance on play and interaction with practitioners and the children. We have a
team of highly qualified and committed staff, who work as a great team. We have many long standing members of staff
with a wealth of experience, to help you build on your professional development.
Our nursery consists of flexible open spaces and both our inside and outdoor classroom play a huge part in allowing us to
create a diverse and exciting environment.

We are looking for somebody who is passionate about Early Years... So if you are just starting out after being at college or
you fancy a change, we could be what you are looking for, all we ask is that you have relevant childcare qualification’s and
that you are passionate and enthusiastic about Early Years and we can support you with the rest. Many of our longest
standing members of staff started whilst they were studying at college.
Shifts would be between the hours of 7:30am till 5:45pm Monday to Friday.

Responsibilities and Duties
Being involved in developing and delivering high quality, stimulating, creative and welcoming environment for the
children within the nursery.
Be responsible for the planning and implementation of activities relevant to the age/stage of development of the
children in their care.
Working with the EYFS and completing online journals/ observations/ assessments for your key children.
Supporting room leaders in every day running of the room.
Building good working relationships with children, staff and parents.
To provide a range of activities relevant to the age and needs of the children in the setting, which encourage
independence, self-motivation, and eagerness to learn.
Promote good hygiene practices.
Follow Safeguarding and Welfare Requirements guidelines set by Ofsted
Attending regular supervision and training as agreed with the nursery manager/Owner and have a willingness to
continue your own professional development.
Maintaining confidentiality at all times.
About you
Hold a relevant Early Years Qualification
Have a good knowledge and understanding of safeguarding duties, nursery procedures and policies
Have good knowledge of birth to 5 development and the EYFS curriculum
Have excellent organisational and time management skills
Demonstrate an up-to-date knowledge in Early Years and have full understanding of children’s emotional, physical,
psychological and educational developmental needs
A positive attitude with an unwavering commitment to service excellence to allow us to maintain our high standards
Be able to work as a team
Have a professional attitude and manner
