We are currently seeking a Family Support Worker to join our Children's Services team Are you creative, dynamic, and enthusiastic in working children, young people, and families? If you are then this role could be for you The role can be multifaceted and challenging and will require the post holder to be proactive and remain child focused throughout. Working with complex families and assisting to keep families together. To work directly with children, young people and their families and cares to deliver support and services, which promote change and development and meet physical, emotional, intellectual, behavioural, health, social and cultural needs. This may include working with children with challenging behaviour, moderate to severe disability. This is a great opportunity to be part of a dedicated and passionate team that will deliver interventions, which bring together families and members of the community. You will need to be committed to improving outcomes for children and promote the child's wishes and feelings and work directly with children, young people, their families, and carers in a range of settings, including homes where conditions may be below acceptable standards to ensure that children and young people are safe and promote change and development. You will develop good joint working partnerships, with families, children and young people and their significant others, as well as undertaking effective joint working within Social Care and with multi-agency partner agencies.
