We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Apprentice Content Creator to join our dynamic Marketing team within our leading independent timber and builders merchant. Dive into the world of content creation, learn from a team of highly-experienced colleagues and help us craft engaging content that resonates with our audience. Apply now and build your future with us Main Duties & Responsibilities: Create and publish engaging static and video content across social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, TikTok). Coordinate the social media and communications calendar, ensuring consistent content flow. Gather content by regularly communicating with branch contacts and conducting site visits across the M62 corridor aside from our main office in Wakefield. Collaborate with sales, customer service, and support teams to create content addressing customer needs. Design and edit assets/videos using Adobe Creative Suite for social media and website promotion. Support marketing campaigns through emails, SMS, and push notifications. Monitor trends and insights, adapting content strategies accordingly. Confidently feature in video content and assist with other marketing activities as needed. Desirable Skills: Experience working within an eCommerce environment would be highly beneficial Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel An ability to quickly grasp new technologies and systems Be confident, enthusiastic, approachable and motivated with a proactive and ‘can do’ attitude Sense of responsibility and willingness to challenge the status quo. Strong attention to detail Enjoys problem solving as well as creative thinking Full driver’s license Entry Requirements: 3 GCSEs (or equivalent) at grades 4 (A-C) in any subject GCSE Maths and English (or equivalents) at grades 3 (D or above) Prospective apprentices must not hold an existing qualification at the same or higher level as this apprenticeship in a similar subject You may also have a combination of qualifications and experience which demonstrate the minimum foundation needed for the programme.
