Finance Business Partner - Division of Surgery
This post is fixed term for 12 months due to - meet the needs of the service.
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Hospital Services Finance Team as Finance Business Partner for the Division of Surgery within Aneurin Bevan UHB. This is a 12 month Fixed Term Contract or Secondment opportunity, and we are looking for a commercially focused and experienced Accountant who is enthusiastic, self-motivated and has an appetite for helping to drive future transformational change.
The post holder will have the opportunity to work with a large variety of acute services within the Health Board, assisting them to meet their financial challenges and providing influence and financial support. The role involves maintaining excellent working relationships with Finance, Operational and Clinical stakeholders; at all levels and in a multi-site environment.
Main duties of the job
The individual will be expected to make a significant contribution to the development and implementation of financial policies, which facilitate the achievement of the Health Board's financial objectives. The post-holder will be expected to implement an annual budget setting process and to provide financial advice to all interested parties on a wide range of issues.

* CCAB Qualified
Knowledge & Experience
* Proven track record of successfully introducing service improvement
* Demonstrable success in building, leading, motivating, managing and developing teams
* Ability to influence at all levels and a highly strategic thinker
Skills & Ability
* Proven ability to achieve targets and objectives within a demanding and pressured environment against challenging deadlines.
* Able to demonstrate a high level of interpersonal skills, displaying credibility, influence and political acumen
* Proven ability to influence large groups of staff
