Applications are invited for an Assistant Professor in Forensic Psychology Practice based in the Centre for Forensic and Family Psychology, a leading centre for postgraduate research and professional training, at the University of Nottingham, School of Medicine Mental Health and Clinical Neuroscience Unit.
You will be responsible for supporting teaching on clinical and criminogenic practice to the MSc (by research) in Forensic and Criminological Psychology and contribute to research and practice supervision for the Doctorate in Forensic Psychology (DForenPsy). Both programmes are professionally accredited by the British Psychological Society (BPS) and the Health & Care Professions Council (HCPC), as professional training leading to chartered status and registration as a forensic psychology practitioner.
Minimum Requirements:
1. Candidates must have a PhD, DForenPsy or equivalent, in Forensic Investigative or Criminal Psychology (or equivalent).
2. Must be registered with the HCPC as a forensic psychology practitioner.
This full-time (36.25 hour) fixed term post is available immediately until 1st January 2027. Job share arrangements may be considered.

£41,421 to £56,921 per annum (pro-rata if applicable) depending on skills and experience. Salary progression beyond this scale is subject to performance.
