Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for a highly motivated and enthusiastic registered chemotherapy nurse, Band 6 SACT (Systemic Anti Cancer Therapy) trained nurse to join our Cancer Nursing Team. This is a rotational post, that will require the successful applicant to work across both our Maidstone and Tunbridge Wells sites, and will provide an opportunity to deliver SACT and supportive treatments to patients with both oncological and haematological cancers. Applicants should be highly motivated, enthusiastic and pro-active. The post holder will work as part of the nursing teams in supporting the unit managers to run an effective and safe working environment, and throughout their treatment pathway all patients are treated with individualised, compassionate and informed care. We offer ongoing academic and clinical professional development, and nurses will be offered SACT training, with support from our PDN team. Successful applicants should be prepared to support the transition to a 6 day service if future demands necessitate.
