Are you a compassionate and dedicated SEN Teaching Assistant looking to make a real difference in the lives of young learners? Simply Education is seeking an enthusiastic and patient individual to support children with additional needs in a mainstream primary school in Grantham. The Role:
1. Provide 1:1 and small group support to pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND and SEMH.
2. Assist the class teacher in delivering tailored interventions and differentiated activities.
3. Support children in developing social, emotional, and academic skills in a nurturing environment.
4. Implement behaviour management strategies to promote positive engagement.
5. Work closely with teachers, SENCOs, and external professionals to ensure pupils receive the best possible support.
What We're Looking For:
1. Experience working with children with SEND (school, nursery, or care setting).
2. A calm, patient, and proactive approach to supporting children with additional needs.
3. Strong communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils and staff.
4. An understanding of EHCPs, differentiation, and inclusive teaching strategies (desirable but not essential).
5. A relevant qualification in childcare, education, or SEND support is beneficial but not required.
