We are looking for a Medical Solutions Lead - Rheumatology to join us in our UK & Ireland Immunology Medical team, based in our Slough, UK offices.
About the role
As a Rheumatology Medical Solution Lead UK and Ireland, you would be responsible for the local adaptation and translation of appropriate scientific content and securing connection with the EU medical Immunology team. In relation to this you will address barriers to the efficient development of materials and assets for the field.
Who you’ll work with
You will report into the Medical Lead for Rheumatology for the UK & Ireland.
What you’ll do
1. Implement the local medical solutions as they were defined in the Integrated Strategic Plan.
2. Localise global solutions for UK/IE in line with local insights and budget.
3. Implement specific local solutions in a timely manner according to the Integrated Strategic Plan (e.g. MSL materials, advisory boards, real world evidence, local and international congresses, medical trainings for customer facing roles, contribute to wider team meetings) and ensure the project management and budget follow-up.
4. Ensure all medical solutions have obtained local compliance approval.
5. Partner with the necessary external stakeholders on key projects that will drive patient value.
6. Execute a communication plan in line with the patient value strategy and local insights.
7. Contribute to guideline initiatives in terms of scientific content.
Interested? For this position you’ll need the following education, experience and skills:
1. Masters’ degree in life sciences or healthcare required.
2. MD, PharmD, PhD preferred.
3. Several years of experience in stakeholder facing roles within healthcare.
4. Experience in working within multidisciplinary teams.
5. Knowledge of local healthcare compliance and pharma environment.
6. Strong written and verbal communications.
7. Experience in medical plan execution.
8. Affinity with omnichannel approach.
