About the role: We are seeking a motivated and talented Graduate Cloud Development Engineer to join our dynamic team. This role is ideal for a recent graduate with a passion for software and web development. You will have the opportunity to work on exciting projects, contribute to the development of innovative solutions, and grow your skills in a supportive and collaborative team-based environment. What you'll do: Design, develop, and test cloud-based services and web applications in support of our particle characterisation instrumentation. Collaborate with other software developers as part of an Agile SCRUM team using Microsoft Teams and Azure DevOps. Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement of development processes. Debug and troubleshoot software issues to ensure robust and reliable operation. Document software designs, data flows, and test procedures. Evaluate new technologies and develop PoC (proof of concept) apps and demonstrators. Qualifications: Graduate in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Web Development or a related field. Technical Skills: Proficiency in the C# programming language with experience in HTML/CSS and JavaScript. Understanding of RESTful APIs, .NET and Azure. Knowledge of version control systems (e.g., Git). Understanding of software development life cycle and agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Desirable Skills: Basic understanding Blazor or ASP.NET. Familiarity with Visual Studio IDE or Visual Code IDE. Exposure to browser-based debugging and logging tools. Experience of front-end (user interface) design and implementation.
