Salary: Up to £26,796.25 per year
Contract: 12-month fixed term contract

Responsibilities of our Lifeline Coordinator:
respond to general email and phone enquiries into the service, escalating onto other team members where appropriate
assess and process cat referrals into the service from clients and referral organisations such as women’s refuges, the police and housing departments and escalating onto regional Caseworkers and Regional Managers as required
support in the recruitment of volunteers via a range of tasks such as processing volunteer applications, completing reference checks and keeping internal systems up to date of volunteer records
support the wider Lifeline team with administrative tasks
assist the team to build stakeholder relationships by promoting the service to referral organisations
About the Lifeline team:
Lifeline is a pet fostering service for anyone fleeing domestic abuse
the majority of our referrals come from women fleeing domestic abuse via women-only services.
the service places cats into volunteer foster homes on a temporary basis until their owners can be reunited with them.
the team consists of two Lifeline Coordinators supporting a wider team of Lifeline Managers, Lifeline Caseworkers and Volunteer Team Leaders
What we’re looking for in our Lifeline Coordinator:
previous experience of supporting people experiencing domestic abuse working, with or on behalf of, adults/families in a support role
experience of management, supporting or working alongside volunteers
resilient and able to show compassion towards others
competent level of IT literacy including Microsoft applications and case management systems
an understanding of animal welfare and a commitment to the care and wellbeing of animals
strong organisational skills and able to prioritise and manage workload and service demands
