Fire Alarm Service Engineer About the Role: We are looking for motivated and skilled Fire Alarm Service and Small Works Engineers to join one of our clients. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of systems and projects across West London and the surrounding areas. Key Responsibilities: Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM): Conduct regular maintenance on fire alarms, emergency lighting, and AOV (Automatic Opening Vent) systems to ensure they remain compliant and fully operational. Fault Diagnosis and Repairs: Troubleshoot system issues and perform efficient, high-quality repairs to minimise downtime for clients. Small Works and Installations: Carry out minor installations, upgrades, and modifications to fire alarm and emergency lighting systems, ensuring all work adheres to relevant safety and compliance standards. Client Interaction: Build strong, professional relationships with clients, offering expert advice and recommendations to improve their systems and safety. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work undertaken, including system inspections, repairs, and installations, using company-provided tools and software. On-Call Support: Participate in the on-call rota, responding promptly to emergency callouts as required. What We Offer: Competitive Salary: £35,000 - £45,000 (depending on experience). Commission Scheme: Earn 10% commission on recommendations. Paid Morning Travel: One hour of paid travel time each morning. On-Call Rates: £140 per on-call shift. Additional Work Rates: £90VAT for the first hour on-site, plus £30VAT for each subsequent hour.
