Growing Operations Manager

We're looking for a Growing Operations Manager to join a well-established nursery that specialises in sweet peas and cut flowers. This is a brand-new role, meaning you'll have the chance to shape it, grow it, and truly make it your own .
What You'll Be Doing
1. Overseeing stock levels and ensuring the nursery is operating at maximum efficiency .
2. Managing irrigation systems and making sure crops get exactly what they need.
3. Working closely with customers and clients - using your commercial acumen to help increase sales and build strong relationships.
4. Supporting the growing team when needed - while they handle most of the growing, you'll still get your hands dirty from.
5. Taking charge of logistics and operations, ensuring smooth running from planting to delivery.
6. Helping drive profitability - this nursery has huge potential, and you could be the one to unlock it.
What We're Looking For
7. Commercial growing experience - sweet peas or cut flowers would be a huge plus, but other nursery or horticulture experience is welcome.
8. Confidence in liaising with customers and clients - you'll be the face of the nursery's operations.
9. An independent and ambitious mindset - you'll be trusted to run things your way.
10. A hands-on attitude - while this role will become more managerial, you'll need to muck in and get things done .
